I’m done.

I’ve done my best to keep my head up and put on a good front, but I’m done. Please remove the fork.

I’m on the lady boss hampster wheel and dizzy from disappointment and angst.

Impostor Syndrome, my negative inner critic, is again yelling in my head, telling me that I’m failing to reach my goals.

The truth is, I’ve hit burnout.

In a recent LinkedIn post, I shared tough love from my moms—ways to fend off burnout, but I forgot one crucial tip…

Gratitude.

November is typically the month of thanksgiving, but how often do we extend gratitude to ourselves?

It’s difficult to celebrate our wins when we constantly focus on what’s going wrong or what we think needs improvement.

Today, stop and show yourself some gratitude by making space for self-reflection + action. How?

Well, we receive what we focus on, so let’s start by journaling to manifest self-love + incoming abundance in a letter to ourselves.

Here’s a journal prompt to try:

Dear X (whatever you call yourself), I love you.

  • I love you because…(Celebrate your unique self.)
  • I respect you because…(Your core values deserve some recognition.)
  • I’m proud of you because…(Write out your wins.)
  • I’m excited for XYZ because…(Manifest the goodness ahead!)

You can use the prompt often to recalibrate yourself, celebrate your wins, and manifest good intentions.

Before I continue overextending myself this week, I promise to refill my cup with some self-care + gratitude. Will you join me?
